Absolutely mind-blowing room with underfloor heating in shower area, super comfy and large bed, stunning mountain views, friendly and helpful staff, calm oasis of sauna/spa.

Food in the hotel bar was excellent.
The hotel is old and the decor is dated. The hotel houses a nite-club and smells badly in the public areas. The bedroom was small and very cramped and not prepared as requested. The charge for this hotel represents very poor value for money.

Although the presence of a bar/lounge that seemed to be the spot for night- life in Gällivare was a bit daunting, the efficiency and thoroughness of the security staff made getting in easy, and once in our room, the noise we feared vanished. The room - a new one, was excellent - the shower facilities worked very well. For a traveler at the end of a long, tiring day, it was as near perfect as one could wish.

Fantastic mountain landscape with a view that includes a large part of Sweden, making you feel like you're on top of the world. The newly built suites have incredibly comfortable beds that guarantee a great night's sleep, leaving you refreshed and ready for the adventures of the day. The Vassara Steakhouse and Sports bar are both wonderful places to indulge in delicious food and drinks, providing a culinary experience that rivals even the most renowned establishments in Gällivare. The Melt SPA offers a wide range of treatments and therapies, allowing you to pamper yourself and relax in a serene environment. The wooden fired sauna Utsikten, with its breathtaking views over Dundret, is a perfect place to unwind and rejuvenate after a day of exploring.
Limited parking options, as the on-site parking is open to the elements, which can be inconvenient during periods of heavy rain.

During my Christmas stay, I was pleasantly surprised by the friendly and helpful staff. They allowed us to check in early and check out late, making our travel arrangements much smoother. I also appreciated the complimentary coffee and tea in the lobby, especially during the chilly winter days. the restaurant vouchers provided for each day allowed us to enjoy a hassle-free and delicious dinner of the day.
Despite the positive experiences, there were a few drawbacks. The lack of essential amenities like a safe, robes, and slippers, as well as a small towel, was also inconvenient.

Right next to the railway station with a good view of the mountain. The staff were all very helpful and friendly. Good breakfast and free tea/coffee available all day.
The accommodation and the restaurant were Not cheap but Sweden was generally pricey anyway I found. There isn't a great deal of choice of hotels in Gallivare.

We had a fantastic stay at this luxurious 4-star hotel. The location couldn't have been better, with the train station right across the road. The staff were extremely welcoming and provided excellent service, making us feel right at home. The room was modern and comfortable, with amenities such as a flat-screen TV and a terrace to enjoy the beautiful views. The dining options were superb, with a restaurant and bar/lounge area offering a variety of delicious meals and drinks. The breakfast was also top-notch, ensuring we started our day off right. this place exceeded our expectations and we highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

Great location right across from the main train station and within walking distance to the main street. The restaurant served high quality food at a good value. Staff were helpful and friendly.
The rooms were outdated and in need of maintenance. Some tiles were broken in the bathroom and there were stains on the corridor walls.

The hotel's location was great, just across from the train station, making it very convenient for exploring the city. The staff was friendly and always willing to help with directions or recommendations. The room itself was spacious and modern, with a comfortable bed and a good-sized bathroom. I also enjoyed the complimentary coffee and tea available on the ground floor.
My room was in the old part of the hotel, which was undergoing renovation. This meant that the room had old and damaged interior, and the bare walls made it feel quite boring.

We recently stayed at the Grand Hotel Lapland for two nights in February. The hotel's location was perfect, just across the road from the train station and close to the lake. We were able to enjoy the frozen lake and even saw the Aurora Borealis! The rooms were spacious and clean, with comfortable beds and good quality linens. The staff was friendly and efficient, especially the ladies at reception and the cafe. The hotel had great amenities like a bowling alley and a cozy bar. We will definitely book here again.

The hotel's location is close to the train station and to the center of the city. The rooms are clean and well-maintained. The sauna on the top floor has a great view.
The hotel is under renovation, which caused constant noise and disturbance. The Wi-Fi was not working in some of the rooms.

The hotel is situated just across from the train station, making it very convenient for tourists. The clean and comfortable rooms allow for a good night's sleep, and the sauna on the top floor provides a relaxing experience. The staff is friendly and helpful, making for great service overall.
The breakfast area could use some updating, but this does not detract from the overall positive experience at the hotel.
